High School (9th through 12th grade) 21st Century Skills / Specialization
At the high school level the focus can be either on introductory or a deeper understanding of a specific skill set; i.e. programming or mechanical design. All robotic programs should include the development of 21st century skills; teamwork, problem solving, ideation, project management, communications. The type of hardware you choose will be dependent on what you choose to teach. Many teachers choose robotics to teach specialized concepts like programming, parametric solid modeling, electronics, advanced machining, etc.
